Telescope World

A telescope is a device to look at far away objects, mostly used for astronomic purposes to see stars and other objects as clearly as they were right in front of you. Galileo Galilei was the first to use the telescope for astronomical purposes. The telescope assembled by Galileo's consisted of a convex object lens and a concave eye lens, which is generally referred to as the Galilean telescope. Later on Johannes Kepler described a new kind of a telescope with two convex lenses in his book. Telescopes with that kind of a feature are commonly called the Kepler telescope.
