how do i work this thing?

my son got a vivitar 50x/100x telescope from santa....the thing came with no directions i have never used a telescope before so i have no idea what i am doing. and it came with no directions. i built it to look exactly like the picture on the box. what am i doing wrong? can somebody help me(please) be specific as i am very new to this

uh would you mind explaining what is the matter with your telescope? you cant just ask that question and expect someone to know what is the matter with something you didn't describe.
