Who enjoys using Astronomy Binoculars?

Answers:

1Virtually EVERY avid amateur astronomer out there! Binoculars are very capable wide-field scopes in their own right. Even amateur astronomers with very large telescopes often advocate the use of binoculars to complement the narrow fields seen thru their telescopes. The use of both eyes vs just one eye enhances the brain's ability to perceive subtle detail. Not all astronomical binoculars need be large binoculars, though some models and designs definitely perform better for viewing the sky. If you are just starting out, and don't already own a pair of binoculars, a pair of 10x50mm binoculars will show quite a bit and tend to be inexpensive.

There are alot of forums on the net where you can read discussions on this topic. Below are a couple of the best ones.
